Introducing our Outdoor Learning Program — a brand-new weekly program where students trade the four walls of the classroom for the forests, fields, and rivers of Chilliwack. One full day, every week, spent learning through hands-on outdoor experience

This program gives students a full day each week to build, explore, question, and discover in a real natural environment. It's curriculum-connected, teacher-guided, and built around one simple idea: children thrive when they get to move, touch, test, and experience the world firsthand.
This program gives students a full day each week to build, explore, question, and discover in a real natural environment. It's curriculum-connected, teacher-guided, and built around one simple idea: children thrive when they get to move, touch, test, and experience the world firsthand.
Our 40-week outdoor curriculum is fully mapped to the BC curriculum and layered with hands-on Pathfinder AY
🍂 Autumn: Senses & ecosystems, seed dispersal, tree ID, salmon life cycles
❄️ Winter: Weather science, light & heritage, geology, animal adaptation
🌱 Spring: Plant growth, water cycles, insect anatomy, soil science
☀️ Year-End: River safety, rock cycles, community cleanup, and a Bio-Blitz portfolio showcase
🚌 Field trips to local favourites, including the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, Chilliwack Corn Maze, the Chilliwack River Salmon Hatchery, and the Vedder River Rotary Trail.
By June, Grades 3–5 students will have earned 8 official Pathfinder AY Honours ( Seeds, Birds, Trees, Weather, Animal Tracking, Insects, and Rocks & Minerals) — presented as patches at our end-of-year closing ceremony.
Full week-by-week curriculum available upon registration.

Monthly Tuition: $175/month

Every Thursday, from September 2026 through June 2027.
Outdoor School runs rain or shine — we just dress for the weather! Only extreme conditions (severe storms, extreme cold) would move the day indoors.
Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated, but not required to participate.
Outdoor Program is open to all enrolled students in Grades K–5, with activities differentiated for K–2 and Grades 3–5.
No problem — just let your child's teacher know in advance. Since Outdoor School is curriculum-aligned, we're happy to share what was covered so your child can catch up.

"I’ve always been a little hesitant about using child care services, but after an unexpected work emergency, I’m so glad I had care arranged. The process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly kind and professional. It gave me peace of mind knowing my child was safe and happy."

"Leaving your child with someone else can be stressful, but knowing there was trusted care available really helped me feel at ease. I had a last-minute situation, and the team was responsive, understanding, and supportive. I’ll definitely use this service again when I need child care in the future."
